He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Warren Dennis and David Clark Dennis, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Tamara Rogers Dennis of Moultrie; his children, Kevin Dennis (Pam) of Thomasville, David Clark "Trey" Dennis III (Kandice) of Moultrie, Matthew Dennis (Gabby) of Moultrie and CaSondra Dennis (Clint Lewis) of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Kolby Lewis, Kaitlyn Lewis, Karma Dennis, Ava Dennis, Thomas Kevin Dennis, Jr., Ladd Dennis, Miranda Dennis, Keaton Dennis and Sarah Dennis; his siblings, Greg Dennis and Jenny Thomas; and his aunt Becky Jordan.
