He is survived by: his wife Anna Reitmaier Mercer of Moultrie; his children, Brady Mercer (Lena) of Moultrie, William Sutton (Heidi) of Moultrie, Laurie Harper (Craig) of Moultrie, Anita Sutton of Watkinsville, Connie Jarrell of Moultrie and Charlene Mercer of Moultrie; and his grandchildren, Charles, Alana Mercer, Nathan Mercer, Anna Belle Sutton, Julie Rae Sutton, Dawson Sutton, Christy Thaggard (Austin), Nick Harper, Laci Jarrell, Hali Jarrell, Justin Mercer, Cheyenne Urban (Howie) and Casey Bonner. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
