He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer D. Barnwell and Pauline Mock Barnwell; and his brothers, Irvin Barnwell, Melvin Barnwell, Jerrell Barnwell and Kenneth Barnwell.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Barnwell Eunice (John) of Moultrie, Kim Barnwell of Fernandina Beach, FL and JoBeth Burt (Bill) of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Amber Eunice Day (David), Ashton Eunice Wilson (Josh), Will Burt (Ashley), Jaimee Burt and Laurie Jo Burt; and his sister Sandra Barnwell Saunders (Charles) of Conyers, GA.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
