She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny M. Shiver, Sr. and Jewell O'Neal Shiver; her husband Kendall Bell Chitty, Sr.; her sons, Larry Kendall Chitty and Kendall Bell Chitty, Jr.; and her siblings, Juanita Frassrand, Alton Shiver, Alvin Shiver and Billy Jo Shiver.
She is survived by: her children, Cecil Dennis Chitty of Arizona, Emily Rowell of Tampa, FL, Barry Schiller of Moultrie, Judy Stevens of Panacea, FL, Jimmy of Panacea, FL, Deborah Logan of Panacea, FL, Samuel of Panacea, FL, Joey Chitty, Gwen of Moultrie and Teressa Chitty Blanchard of Winston-Salem, NC; and her siblings, Betty Jean Jordan of Moultrie, Carolyn Nazworth of Crawfordville, FL and Johnnie M. Shiver, Jr. of Moultrie. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Hopewell Cemetery with Mr. Herbert Connell officiating.
