He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Jospeh Mullen Sr. and Ann Roughen Mullen; his wife Sylvia Mullen of Morganton; his son Patrick; his daughter-in-law Marie Mullen of Jacksonville, FL.; his sisters, Terese (Joe Muller), Elieen (Daryl Walker) and Maureen (Joseph Cliett); and his grandchildren, Aiden and Tristen. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
