He was predeceased by: his parents, Joy Heck and Martha Heck; and his grandson Jamie Heck. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Elizabeth Hall-Heck of Morganton; his sons, Bob Heck of Morganton and Don (Carole Heck); and his granddaughter Elizabeth Heck.
