With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Russell Coker (Moreland, Georgia), born in Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on April 28, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Inez Coker; his son Russell "Gene" Coker; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Coker; and his siblings, Lillian, Geneva, Claudie Mae and Ruby.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy Strickland (Anthon), Ricky Coker and Randy Coker (Brenda); his grandchildren, Tina Elvins (Al), Chris Adkinson (Sara), LeAnn Strickland, Anthony Coker (Jill), Andrew Coker (Jennifer), Richie Coker (Crystal), Michael Coker, Tobie Coker (Tabatha), Jessica Trask (Sterling), Daron Cobb (Anthony), Mark Coker, Lonnie Coker (Bonnie), Melissa Coker, Keith Coker (Ariel) and Bridget Mathis (Cliff); and his brother-in-law Frank Sutton. He is also survived by 28 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
