He is survived by: his children, Danny Thompson (Belinda) of Moreland and Laurie Phippen (Michael) of Newnan; his grandchildren, Terah Capell (Mike), Jason Adam Brooks (Jennifer), Tammy Nelson (Shane), Heather Stewart (Brad), Heidi Leatherwood (Chad), Tim Crawford and Michael Smith; and his sister Kathryn Teaster (Skip). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
