She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Whitley, Jr. and Bernice Bowden Whitley. She is survived by: her children, Christy Bowie (Michael) and Jeromy Hayes; her grandchildren, Nicholas Bowie, Abbigail Hayes, Nathan Bowie and Kileigh Bunn; and her brother Tim Whitley. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
