It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Sue Leverett of Moreland, Georgia, born in Brantley, Alabama, who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Mack Stricklin and Jewel Powell Stricklin; her grandson Joshua Livingston Bailey; and her great grandchild Charleston Kate Gasses. She is survived by: her husband William H. "Bill" Leverett of Moreland; her daughters, Leslie Bailey Parkerson of Greenville and Linda Lee Gasses (Cy Gasses) of Greenville; her grandchildren, James Leverett Bailey, William Zachary Bailey, Anna Gasses Coleman, Rachel Gasses Williford and Art Gasses; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Coleman, Ruby Williford and Griffin Gasses.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charitable organization.
