She was predeceased by: her spouse Melvin R. Garn; and her siblings, James A. Kneece, Thomas D. Kneece, Carroll D. Kneece and Elizabeth Kneece Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Renea Chesser of Mitchell, GA; her sister Louise Kneece Wood (Kenneth) of Augusta; and her grandchildren, Angela Murphy of James Chesser, II, Travis E. Chesser and Melanie Chesser Gutierrez. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
