He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard I. West and Vivian Wilkinson West; his wife Gwen Bloodworth West of Milledgeville; his daughters, Lauren West DuPree (Tom, Jr.) of Ellijay and Lisa West Thomas (David) of Newnan; his siblings, James West of Vidalia and Alice Ryle of Winston Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Tom DuPree, III (Aimee) and Drs; and his great grandchildren, Tom DuPree IV and Theo DuPree.
