It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Humberto Mejia of Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Emelia Mejia; his children, Irene Mejia Shomaker (Clay Shomaker), Cecilia Mejia Peavy (Jay Peavy) and Humberto Mejia, Jr. (Jennifer Mejia); and his grandchildren, Matthew, William, Gabriella, Sophia, Alissa, Julie, Carson and Ava.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 110 North Jefferson Street, Milledgeville, GA 31061.
