She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Brown and Leila Dubberly Brown; her husband T. O. Couey; and her siblings, Jack Brown and Merrell Vaughn.
She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Couey (Sally) of Milledgeville, Micky Couey (Trina) of Milledgeville and Stewart Couey (Kim) of Milledgeville; her grandchildren, Mandi Ellis (Jimi), Casey Couey, Bryan Couey, Christopher Couey, Macie Couey and Stacey McCoy (Jake); and her great grandchildren, Tyson and Sawyer Mathis. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
