He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Mathis Powell of Cordele; his children, Callie Powell of Cordele and Dylan Powell of Cordele; his brother Jay Powell (Amanda) of Warner Robins; and his stepbrother Sam Braxley of North Carolina. He is also survived by 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
