She was predeceased by: her husband Lt Colonel Richard A. Grimes; her son Frank; and her sister Sarah Mercer (Charles). She is survived by: her children, Greg, Julianne Varner (Duane) and Mary Ann Beyers (Chris); her grandchildren, Eric, Abbey, Austin, Virginia Kate, William, Greg (Kelly), Alaina (Kieron), Melissa (Andre) and Allan; and her sister Nancy James (Jerry). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
