He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Giddens; his parents, Clifford Alton and Paralee Giddens; and his siblings, Jesse Giddens and Betty Sobecke.

He is survived by: his daughter Danielle Hodges (John Paul) of Rockmart, GA.
