It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rudi Lyle Easterling of Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father David Easterling. He is survived by: his mother Eloise Easterling of Decatur, IL; his wife Christina Easterling (Cooley); his children, Alexis Vondersaar (Andrew) of Smyrna, GA, Brianna Easterling (Anders Franke) of Minneapolis, MN, Daulton Easterling (Kelsey) of Smyrna, GA and Camrynn Easterling of Tampa, FL.; his brother Martin Easterling (Donna) of Decatur, IL; and his in-laws, Thomas, Cheryl Cooley, Larry and Melissa Dase (Cooley). He is also survived by 2 nephews and a niece.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Funeral Home (121 Claremore Dr, Woodstock, GA 30188). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN (in support of brain tumor research) in memory of Rudi Easterling.
