With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lee Gooden Sr. of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on May 2, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his son Gerald Guyrone Gooden. He is survived by: his wife Hattie Gooden; and his children, Phyllis Brown (Albert), Norbert Gooden, Robert Gooden, Jr., Winfred Gooden, Demetrice Gooden, Gwendolyn Jennings (Kevin) and Brandon Gooden. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
