He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nottingham and Zera Nottingham; his sister Frances Zera Nottingham Smallwood; and his son-in-law John Raymond Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette "Jeanne" S. Nottingham; his children, Wilfred Allen Nottingham (Grace) of Atlanta, George M. Nottingham, III (Ellie) of Macon and Kelly Nottingham Pierce of Atlanta; and his grandchildren, Mary Beth Nottingham of Yorktown, Virginia, Theresa Nottingham Walsh (Phil) of Atlanta, Jeannette Nottingham Martin (Chase) of Birmingham, Kathryn Marie Nottingham Widstrom (Gray) of Macon, Michael Allen Nottingham of Macon, Abigail Pierce Trumper (Paul) of Exeter and Taylor Schofield Pierce (Caroline) of Woodstock, Georgia. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces.
Jeanne asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the First 4 All Building Fund at First Presbyterian Church, Macon, 682 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201, continuing the vision fund of the church.
