She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Turner and L. C. Turner; and her sister Jan Lowery. She is survived by: her daughter Stacey; her son-in-law Mario Herrera; her grandchildren, Liliana and Nicolás; and her stepdaughter Suzanne Carter (Bill). She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
