He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Calvin and Dora Ella Dickens; and his siblings, Paul, Emory, Claude, Fred, Margaret, Harry, Doris, Alton, Eva, Herbert and Clayborn.
He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Greer Dickens; his daughter Alana Dickens Crosby (Joe); his granddaughter Deanna Janean Sauls (Tommy); and his great grandchild Davina Sauls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
