She was predeceased by: her husband James Smith; her sons, Larry Smith and Greg Smith; her parents, Loyd Rutledge and Annie Rutledge (Williams); and her siblings, Mary Mitchell, Jack Rutledge and Bill Rutledge.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Mandy M. Smith of Loganville, GA and Shannon Smith of Augusta, GA; her siblings, L. C. Rutledge of Forsyth, GA, Wayne Rutledge of Monroe, GA, Louise Swann of Covington, GA and Theresa Williamson of Conyers, GA; her grandchildren, Wendy, Rick Black, Ben, Kara Smith, Colton Smith and Taylor Peebles; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Jamie, Jasmine, Jesse and Layla; and her friend Jo Edmondson.
