She was predeceased by: her husband Hap Jones; her daughter Barbara Jean; her son-in-law Robert Schott; her parents, Harle Smith and Curtis E. Smith (Gresham); and her siblings, Jerry E. Smith, Harold G. Smith, William E. Smith, Lottie M. Adams and Gail Piper.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia Elizabeth; her son-in-law Tony Long of Loganville, GA; her stepdaughter Joi Russell; her brother Kenneth; her sister-in-law Barbara Smith of Loganville, GA; her sister Brenda; her siblings-in-law, Edward Rutledge of Loganville, GA, James Piper of Loganville, GA and Wilma Smith of Eatonton, GA; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Smith of Powder Springs, GA, Jennifer Leigh and Simon Chaput of Spain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; numerous family and friends.
