He is survived by: his wife Wanda Elaine Byrd; his children, Gregory Allen Byrd (Stacy) and Gerrad William Byrd (Kimberly); his grandsons, Wyatt Allen Byrd, Landon Drake Byrd and William Blake Byrd; his brothers, Jeff Byrd (Shawn) and David Byrd (Debbie); his sister-in-law Belinda Byrd; and his nephew Steven Dobson (Dawn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
