With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Powell of Lizella, Georgia, born in Millen, Georgia, who passed away on January 31, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin James Cauley and Mollie Joyner Cauley; her husband Bennie E. Powell; and her son-in-law Eddie "Boots" Davis. She is survived by: her children, Earline Davis, Judy Peavy, Patricia Brinkley (Fred) and Ben Powell Jr. (Lindsey); and her grandchildren, Jessica Gilstrap (Shannon), Summer Davis, Shannon Davis (Tiffany), Erica Getrum (Rich), Ashley Freeman (Sam), Amber Jones (Ryan), Brittany Peavy (Dewayne), Blane Lazaurs (Victoria), Julie King (Alex), Chris Brinkley, Cheney Daniel, Kyle Powell Brayleigh Powell (Ashley), Abby Price, Maddie Price and Carter Price.

Flowers will be accepted, memorials may be made to Fellowship Church and Alzheimer's Association.
