He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Dye. He is survived by: his brother Donald Dye; his children, Becky Dye (Rodney McIntosh) and Hal Dye (Lisa Dye); his grandsons, Coleman Dye (Haley Dye), Trent Dye and Austin Dye; and his great grandchild Warner Dye.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest a donation to the American Heart Association or Lilburn First Baptist Church.
