He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lewis Lane Jr. and Lore Walker Lane; and his brother Ronald E. Lane. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Staton Lane; his children, Todd Kevin Lane (Jennifer Lane) and Michelle Lane Greene (Bill White); and his grandchildren, Taylor Lane Burke (Taylor Burke), William Montgomery Greene, Charlotte Lane and Porter Lane.
