He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Philip Gaskins and Pauline Gaskins (Sloat); and his brother Jerry Gaskins. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Gaskins (Martin); his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Edwin "Buddy" Gratton; and his granddaughters, Kelsey Gratton and Samantha Gratton.
