It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon McAllister Sr. of Lavonia, Georgia, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Betty Dawson McAllister; and his children, Derek McAllister, Vernon S. McAllister, Jr., Dequiency McAllister, Rahsaan McAllister and Nyema McAllister. He is also survived by sister grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
