He is survived by: his wife Helen LaRose Akins Hornick of Lavonia; his children, Ron Hornick of Hartwell and Lisa Davis (Jamey) of Hartwell; his brother Herb Hornick (Betty) of Hartwell; and his grandchild Shelley Gholson (Zane) of Texas.
