She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh W. Whitworth and Ether Mae Whitworth (Whitlow); her brother Shuratt Whitworth; her daughter Cindy Gilbert; and her son-in-law Dee Dowis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Williams (Keith) of Franklin, TN and Tracie Dowis of Simpsonville, SC; her grandchildren, Brady Williams, Madeline Dowis and Grant Dowis; and the father of her children W. M. Gilbert.
