It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Smith (Lavonia, Georgia), born in Saltville, Virginia, who passed away on March 9, 2019, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Edward F. Smith; his wife Beverly Smith (Mauldin); and his son Keith Smith. He is survived by: his mother Sue Smith (Taylor); his daughter Maggie; his son-in-law Cody Jackson; his daughter Kristy Smith; his grandchildren, Nate Noble, Ellic Jackson, Jessie Peppers, Braley Roach and Trinity Roach; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl, Ted Humbert, Susan and Tony Booher; his brothers, Ron Smith and Jeremy; and his sister-in-law Laura Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
