With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeffery Mattox of Lavonia, Georgia, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 14, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Mattox and Myrtle Mattox (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Julie Kathleen Mattox; his sons, Scott (Kelly Mattox) and Jeffery (Marissa Mattox); his grandchildren, Alden Mattox, Anna Mattox, Emilie Mattox and Aubrey Mattox; and his siblings, Jerry Mattox (Sue), Pam Neiser (Albert Torres) and Nick Jaksich (Lyn).

The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date and respectfully request that no flowers be sent.
