He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Henry Stroud, Sr. and Lettie Pearl Stroud (Gray); and his sister Lavinia Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Tina Stroud (Frix); his daughter Brandie Ann Stroud; his stepsons, Jason Cook (George Castrataro), Christopher Cook (Desiree) and Josh Eller; his grandchildren, Gavin and Olivia Cook; and his siblings, Patricia S. West (William), Junior Stroud (Debra), Wanda C. Stroud, Susie Stroud (John Boy Roberts) and Mary S. Hayes (Wayne). He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
