Grubbs (Lavonia, Georgia), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Clement Grubbs; her brothers, Paul Duckworth and Roy Duckworth; her granddaughter Sherry Reed; and her grandson-in-law Wayne Witcher.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Adjutant, Gene, Faye Brown, Johnny Mitchell, Carl Mitchell, Steve Mitchell and Teresa Rholetter; her grandchildren, Rena Adjutant, Jackie Price, Jackson, Shirley Alewine Compton, Johnny Mitchell, Jessica Martin, Steven Mitchell, Kayla Witcher and Renee Dean; her great grandchildren, Tyson Price, Candler Price, Denver Thurman, Amber Witcher, Justin Witcher, Madison Dean, Bentley Dean, Talan Martin and Elaina Martin; and her great great grandchildren, Sean Connely, Melanie Wimmer and Avenleigh Price.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to the Bowman Church of God.
