She was predeceased by: her mother Mandy Vickery Beggs; and her husband James D. 'Snuffy Smith. She is survived by: her children, David Smith of Lavonia and Brenda Smith Shorter of Buford; her granddaughters, Kristan Smith Evans, Kayla Smith Bennett (Colt), Jessica Smith, Morgan Christine Shorter, Haleigh Brooke Shorter and Addison Leigh Shorter; and her siblings-in-law, Phillip Smith (Deborah) and Rea Smith. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
