He is survived by: his parent Mildred Inez Higginbotham Sheriff; his siblings, Bobby Sheriff, Johnny Sheriff, Mae Blakely, Paul Sheriff, Dewey Sheriff, Barbara Neese and Dwight Sheriff; his children, Daniel Lee Sheriff and Beth Cox; his son-in-law Dwayne Cox of Social Circle, GA; his sister Joyce Henderson of Carnesville; and his grandchildren, Dawson, Zeb, Areia and Jordan.
