It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beatrice Ann Wood of Lavonia, Georgia, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William Wood and Artie Mae Wood (Nix); her children, Teresa Chitwood and Wendell Wehunt; her grandson Patrick Chitwood; her great grandchild Benjamin DiCara; and her siblings, Roy Wood, Elease W. Peeples, Ruby Chastain, Ruth Wooten, Gatha Blackwell and Edna Cape.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Norton (Wesley), Danny Chitwood, Doug Chitwood and Angelo DiCara; and her siblings, Jean Wilbanks, Mildred Turner, Rayford Wood and Preston Wood.
Those in attendance are reminded to adhere to social distancing and public health guidelines.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to defray funeral expenses.
