With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Al Sopp of Lavonia, Georgia, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Sopp and Irene Sopp (Bentley); and his siblings, James "Jim" Sopp and Betty Williamson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sopp (Mariacher); his children, Lynn (Steve Hause), Anne (Tony Kouris), Lauren Johnston and Matthew (Katherine Sopp); his brother Edwin Sopp; and his grandchildren, Devon Cook, Alexandra Kouris, Byron Kouris, Ronald Tollenaar IV, Megan Hightower, Strider Johnston, Parker Sopp and Bennett Sopp.

Those in attendance are reminded to wear masks and adhere to social distancing and all public health guidelines.
