She was predeceased by: her son Ellis Edward Sanders Jr; her parents, Edwin Atkins and Ethel Atkins; and her sisters, Gengvieve Sanders, Thelma Robinson and Margie Fuson.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Sanders Lakemont (Kelly) and Shirley McNeil (Patrick); and her sisters, Geneva Jackson of Pekin, Frida Rainer of Wabasld Indiana and Fleta Garris of Birdseye. She is also survived by Nine Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren And Six Great Great grandchildren.
