He was predeceased by: his father B. C. Marsengill; and his brother Franklin Keith Marsengill. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Thomas Marsengill; his son Quentin Marsengill; his stepdaughter Felicia Meehan; his stepgranddaughter Sarah Meehan of Daphne, Alabama; his brothers, Ronald Marsengill of Mt. Airy and Timothy Marsengill of Mt. Airy, Georgia; his close friend Geraldine Spoor of Wiley; his former wife Dorothy Ann Marsengill of Gulf Shores, Alabama.; and also Isabella Bravo.
The family will have a private service due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation in memory of Michael Marsengill.
