He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hastings and Katherine Kell Hastings. He is survived by: his wife Kim Welch; his siblings, Jimmy Hastings and Phyllis Johnson; his children, Adam Hastings and Brooke Smith of Lakemont, GA.; and his siblings, Mark Hastings of Franklin, NC., Donna Layman (Greg) of Serveirville, TN. and Sharron Sexton (Robert) of Lakemont, GA.. He is also survived by Three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
