He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Carlton Gipson; his grandmother Turpin Gipson; his wife Edith Giles Gipson; his children, Doug Gipson (Rita) of Lakemont, GA, Bruce Gibson (Betty Jo) of Lakemont, GA, Wayne Gipson (Rita) of Lakemont, GA, Judy Turpin of Lakemont, GA, Gayla Gipson of Douglasville, GA and Betty Jo Gipson of Lakemont, GA; and his sisters, Jane Craig of Clayton, GA and Thelma Watts. He was also cherished by Ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
