He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer George Theobald and Shirley Louise Noll Theobald. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Scanlan Theobald; his children, David Theobald of Los Angeles, CA and Corine Theobald Parker (Adam) of Decatur, GA; his sister Nancy Theobald Burrow of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Bonnie and William.
