He is survived by: his children, Leslie Darnell of Lakemont, GA, Landie Watts (Buck) of Habersham, GA, Lorraine Darnell Smith (Alan) of Clayton, GA and Lex (Laura Welch Darnell) of Clayton, GA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
