Alan Lee McDermott Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Lee McDermott (Kennesaw, Georgia), born in Tiltonsville, Ohio, who passed away on April 1, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John McDermott and Ethyl McDermott (Steese); his children, Kathy McDermott Loos (Rich) of New Albany, OH, Amy McDermott Frost (Scott) of Marietta, GA, Michael McDermott (Jayna Wallace) of Columbus, OH and John McDermott (Corissa) of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandchildren, Nathan, Grant, Olivia Loos, Ashley, Alex Frost, Carlie Kopp and Allison McDermott; his sisters-in-law, Sandy Hall (Greenawalt) and Lita Greenawalt (Chapman); and his friend Alan.

In lieu of Flowers the family requests donations be made to John Hopkins All Children's Foundation Guild, the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, and the Catholic Church of St Ann Bereavement Ministry.
