She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Linder and Eunice Ray Kinsey Linder; her husband James Franklin DeFore, Sr.; her children, James Franklin DeFore, Jr. and Janet M. DeFore; and her siblings, Harris Linder, Martha Lyons, Franklin Linder and Tiny Linder.
She is survived by: her children, Susan "Susie" E. Spengler (Mark) and Kenneth L. DeFore (Kasey) of Kathleen; her grandchildren, Annie Wiley (Ed), Jessie Boler, Miranda Nolen (Ryan), James Franklin DeFore III, Kenneth "Trey" DeFore, Jr., Ann Marie DeFore, Alaine Spengler and Mindy Henderson (Connor); her great grandchildren, Caleb Roberts (Asia) of Leia, Odom, Lydia Bass, Olivia Boler, Julia Wiley, Clara Wiley, Laura Wiley, Lila Wiley, Abram Wiley, Ezra Wiley, Lilith DeFore, James Franklin DeFore IV, Jude Nelson, Aniston Nelson and Ian Nolen; and her brother Arnold Linder (Carmen). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
