He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Terrell and Marjorie Buffington (Chasteen); his stepfather Jack Morris; his siblings, Ken Buffington, Kethe Buffington, Joe Boggs and Caroll Sawyer; his sister-in-law Jeanne Buffington; and his grandson Steven Eugene Buffington.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Buffington of Kathleen; his daughter Ashley Buffington of Byron; his brothers, Terry Buffington of Dallas and Walter Buffington (Margaret) of Jonesboro; his siblings-in-law, Kenny Jackson (Barbara) of Kathleen, Wendell Sawyer of Hinesville, Georgia and Marian Boggs; and his parents-in-law, John and Jeanette Jackson of Kathleen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
