It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Finley of Jonesboro, Georgia, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Glover and Olivia Glover; her husband Arrie Finley Jr.; her sons, Kevin and David Finley; and her siblings, Lillian Roberts, Alma, Candice Glover, Fred Jr., Jeffrey Glover, Ronald and Seymour Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Arrie Finley III, Derek (Doreen), Stephanie, Sharon, Michele Finley, Lisa Postell (Eddie Jr.) and Doreen Z. Calhoun-Finley; her sisters, Lorraine Manning, Doris Thomas, Marsha, Valerie, Pam, Felicia and Ellen; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Wilson, Emma Yelverton, Jacqueline Waller and Gwendolyn Alexander. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.
